What is it?

Soy protein is just that - protein from a soybean. Most proteins are too large to be useful topically, so they are hydrolyzed. This means that it’s gone through a process of hydrolysis, a chemical reaction with water where the protein is broken down so that it can be absorbed by hair. Proteins are made up of amino acids, which are necessary for the body to produce healthy hair and skin.
