The number one best way to get proteins into your hair is through a well-balanced diet.
However, we aren’t always up to scratch on this - especially during lockdowns, with work, family AND 8-step-skincare regimens - if you’re lucky enough to be balancing all of the above.
The second best way to get proteins into your hair? The haircare products you’re already using.
Simple, effective, and you don’t even need to buy a special tea drink from an Influencer to be doing it.
What is it?
Soy protein is just that - protein from a soybean. Most proteins are too large to be useful topically, so they are hydrolyzed. This means that it’s gone through a process of hydrolysis, a chemical reaction with water where the protein is broken down so that it can be absorbed by hair. Proteins are made up of amino acids, which are necessary for the body to produce healthy hair and skin.
Yay for science!
