I love this gel. My first purchase was Pow but it was way too heavy for my waves and just pulled them out. I tried a sample pouch of OOmph and fell in love. My waves at the front of my head love it and the curlier hair at the back feels soft and silky.
Nice and thick hair mask provides the moisture I need leaving soft bouncy curls!
So I’m the first to admit that my super fine 2c/3a hair and I are not a good mix. It needs work and I can’t be bothered. I watch social media and see girls taking hours to dry and style their hair perfectly - it looks beautiful, but that’s not me. I don’t have the patience, I’d rather tie it back and go to the beach. BUT ENTER LOHY!!!! Products that work without a lot of work. FINALLY. My curls were soft (so soft), defined and looked healthy. Is my hair a bit frizzy still - yes. Would it be perfect if I bothered to style it - probably. Am I going to - nope (Lohy has done the job). Will I continue to buy these products that make my hair look 100% better with not a lot of effort - yep!
Following the refreshing instructions also a game changer. It’s so easy in the morning now to freshen up my hair. Spritz, gel, air dry, get on with day. While I’m using the whole kit, I think the game changers are the two gels mixed together and then oomph on its own to refresh. I also purchased the Curl Cream when I restocked with full sized products, which is also great.
I have learnt to much watching the videos and socials. I’m super impressed with their commitment to educating us for the best results!
I have only been using this gel for a short time, but I am impressed with the results. It is very hydrating.

My hair is fine/wavy to curly and is sensitive to product. I love that Cruise Control doesn't weigh my hair down and my hair has more body after using it. I use it most days before either Oomph or Pow.
One of the worst shampoo/conditioners I've ever tried.
I have fine coloured wavy hair that curls with a bit of TLC and this was the product recommended by the online quiz.
But this shampoo is so drying, it even dries out my hands when I'm trying to lather it.
It doesn't lather regardless of amount of product or water added to it. And you have to wash your hair twice which is not ideal with coloured/fine hair.
The amount of breakage and hair loss I experience when I try to detangle the matted mess my hair has become after washing is a joke. And because its so drying it doesn't matter what I do with it after it always turns frizzy and unmanageable because my hair now feels like straw.
I wanted to love it, but I just can't.
And now I have two very expensive shower ornaments because I don't want to keep using it.
I will not be purchasing again.
It gets one star for being Australian and a pleasant smell.
This product is the bomb nothing had controlled my curls or frizz like this amazing product.
I love love love this product and thank my lucky stars the chance visit to a hairdresser in Darwin got me onto it xx
I bought Chutzpah together with Oomph and have been really happy. The video 'how to' guides are so helpful. It was great to understand how the product is intended to work and how to get the best results. After buying it, I went back and bought the glove and brush too.
Lovely silky mousse with great hold, no frizz but no crunch
With my recent purchase of Chutzpah my 3c curls got that extra boost of definition and hold to dry before I crunch out the scrunch. My hair is thick when my 3C curls dry so I actually don’t need the volumising but I find that adding just that bit pressed over my entire head, and concentrated more at the crown, I don’t end up with flat crown curls and my overall curl shape and hold is much better. Before adding this I really had difficulty on non-wash days but this seems to have made the difference. Love love love this product and all the Lohy range - I have now totally changed over to these products
This is the best set of products I have even used in my wavy hair. So many friends have noticed the fullness and curl in my hair - this product works in hot far North Queensland and will recommend it to all my curly haired friends!
The process of selecting products and buying through Lohy was amazing! I received my order within a couple of days. In terms of the actual products my hair went into a huge mat both times I used the NF shampoo so I wouldn't buy that again. The DQ Rich Conditioner/Mask did immediately fix the issue though and was an awesome product. The Cruise Control leave in is the best curl cream i havw used to date. Hydrating and not too heavy. I found the POW gel left a sticky resedue and would not purchase again. The Chutzpah foam was lovely and really helped with volume. Overall I'm glad I got the kit to try them all!
The Lohy Strong Hold Gel has changed my life. I get compliments all the time now for wearing my hair out. I have even referred to friends that have purchased & are very happy
This product has been giving me far better results than the brand I used previously, probably the one before that as well. Good for my combo wavy/ curly hair. Glad to be supporting an Aussie company too.
What's not to love about this cleanser, thankfully the tutorials showed me how to use it properly. Love LOHY

Guess I'm just not a hairspray type of curly. Used it on dry hair and was disappointed with the sticky, stiff feel. I read somewhere about using on wet hair so I'll give that a go but.......
Works well but button neck a bit tricky to do up. Maybe Velcro would be easier?
It's very strong, great for humid environments and moisturising at the same time. Easy to wash out too. No need to keep sampling. This works if you want mega hold without drying hair out
